The dynamic Delica chamber orchestra is formed by twelve charming ladies from all over the world – graduates of Europe’s most prestigious music schools: Mozarteum University of Salzburg (Austria), The University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (Austria), Hannover University of Music (Germany), Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Russia), Queen Sofía College of Music (Spain), Cologne University of Music (Germany).

Their diverse backgrounds come together in a powerful union of talent and passion for art. Délica will take you on a journey to discover a broad range of music styles from Baroque to contemporary; full of energy and charm.

High virtuosity, elegant musical taste and a deep understanding of art – this is what allows Delica to offer such an inclusive repertoire for various musical tastes: Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Sarasate, Paganini, De Falla, Kreisler, Rossini, Piazzolla, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and more.

In 2019 Delica presented “Exits of Cinema & Pop Collection” – a new program which contains the special arrangements of famous songs of Abba, Beatles, Queen, E.Presley, F. Sinatra, Adele, Mecano, Cohen, Coldplay, Nirvana and melodies from the cinema – Pirates of the Caribbean, Cinema Paradiso, The fifth element, Love story, Game of thrones, Schindler’s list, The Matrix, La la land and others.

The orchestra consists of five violins, two violas, two cellos, double bass, piano and on some

occasions also percussion. With this formation the orchestra finds a broad range of repertoire that can be performed – from the traditional programme of string orchestra to the more creative arrangements of alternative music styles. High professionalism and virtuosity of the young musicians enables them to perform different kinds of programs – and always in the best quality. The quality and success of the concerts are the key values which unite Delica chamber artists.

Since their inception in 2017, Delica chamber orchestra has already performed at some of the most prestigious venues, such as National Auditorium of Madrid, Teatro Real of Madrid, Palau de la Musica Catalana, Auditorium de Zaragoza, Cadogan Hall in London and etc.

In 2019 Delica toured the UK, including a concert in London’s famous Cadogan Hall. Delica has already started planning a schedule of concerts for 2020 in Germany, Latin America and Japan.
